[Volume 3] Rules - Release Documentation

Recommended Posts

The following are all of our rule changes for volume 3. We worked very hard to make sure we didn't have tons of rule changes this volume.

First and foremost, please let me address the clubs in PVP issue, this is not being ignored, we wanted to see how the changes we made to the upgrade station, and the limits for crafted weapons and items will adjust the club power vs armor. In addition it is not guaranteed that we will remain at our current tek limit (might have riot armor this volume, you never know ;) ).

Okay now onto the rules:

Dino Limit:

  • Solo players: 15 Dinos (subject to increase)
  • Tribes 12 Dinos each

Faction Rule changes:

We have quite a few changes coming into the faction rules section, mostly because of the need to adjust rules for the new map that we are implementing!

  • Factions will now have tranq rights without initiation on their owned territory.
    • If you have tranqed someone on your territory as part of this rule, you MAY NOT steal their items. You MAY disarm them, but you MUST return their belongings when you release them.

[*]Faction kidnapping adjustments: Factions can make IC laws, they always could but before there were no OOC regulations to allow factions a bit of flexibility when their laws are broken.

    • Factions can now kidnap someone who has broken their laws and keep them captive (jailed) for up to 24 hours.

Armor/Weapon Rule Changes:

  • Re-introduced 180% weapon and 250 Armor ratings max for all gear collected and or crafted. Any weapons or armor that exceed these numbers needs to be thrown out.

We hope the above armor/weapon damage changes will improve everyone’s understanding on PvP and also re-ballance clubs for PvP.

These are all of our immediate rule changes, but we will update you on this thread should we add or adjust any rules before launch!

Best,

~ Poseidon

Hi,

Questions: Regardless of the fact you should not break faction laws.. with the new ruleset, does the original hostage rule still apply that the kidnapped person needs to be RP'ed with the entire time? (So a full 24 hours in its most extreme form?)

Regards,

Koge
